Icons of lighting design by Artemide

In the coming year, with its Masters‘ Pieces collection, Artemide will bring premieres and new editions to the market. These will again provide space for design icons to unfold their incomparable aura and will include both products and creative cooperations, longstanding friendships – and revolve around the passion for Italian design. “Masters’ Pieces” is the expression of a dialogue art cultivated for decades with the most important design and architectural creators. The collection comprises refined and stylish classics of lighting, but also designs in the drafting stage which still exist only as sketches. Included in the ensemble are the glass table lighting fixtures Alcinoo by Gae Aulenti, Vico Magistretti‘s suspension and floor lights Cetra, Omega and Clitunno. A new appearance is also scheduled by Ernesto Gismondi’s colourfully playful workroom lighting Sintesi, while Ettore Sottsass’ Memphis-style highlights Orfeo and Hera will be introduced for the first time.
