Tradition, just like innovation, is in the Trixl family genes. After all, Christian Lichtmannegger, who founded the Fieberbrunn company in 1894, built the first mechanical workshop in the province. And in 1960 Elfriede Kafka-Trixl was already Tyrol’s very first female master carpenter.
Nowadays Trixl demonstrates a truly delicate touch for furniture, design and age-old craftsmanship in three focus areas: furnishings, carpentry and interior architecture. Whereas in the 25-man workshop custom-made furniture and wood constructions are carpentered, planners and interior designers furnish the interiors and hone individual items.
Trixl has a good history to look back on, and thus, a good future to look forward to. Even in the fifth generation, the family holds true to their unparalleled handmade products. The only difference is that nowadays they guide that craftmanship with high-tech CNC systems.
An old hand with old wood
When it’s a matter of solid-wood construction and old-woodworking, Trixl is the specialist known well beyond provincial borders. “Everyone who works here loves old wood and our master woodworkers are old hands”, says Martin Trixl, who together with Simon Trixl Jr. has run the company since 1993.
Fine furniture, smart inner architecture
Trixl’s philosophy is simple: “We give each room an idea, each idea a form.” That is what generates Trixl’s products, a wide range of styles in cushion furniture, floors, living rooms, kitchens all the way to the fabrics, curtains, drapes, blinds, bed linen and superb lighting.
Bang-on overall solutions
Apart from furnishings, interior architecture and classic carpentry work, Trixl also provides custom-made overall solutions. Together with carefully selected partners, Trixl manages everything from A to Z: planning, visualisation, groundbreaking to handing over the keys, even fitting single rooms with every possible appointment and appliance on demand.
