<strong>If an artist of the calibre of Prof. Jos Pirkner, who among other things is responsible for the design and construction of Red Bull Headquarters in Fuschl and was involved in Hangar 7 in Salzburg, leaves his stamp on the ambiente of a restaurant right down to the last detail, a feast for the eyes is guaranteed. And if, to dot the i, a top Austrian chef takes care of the culinary delights and delivers highly creative dishes to your table, the joy is complete.</strong>
“Im Stadl” is the quaint name of the dining temple in Nußdorf-Debant, ensuring the finest of dining pleasures, both visually and for the palate. In charge is an unusual triumvirate comprising artist Prof. Jos Pirkner his son Gidi and the superb chef de cuisine Robert Sprenger. The trio turned a former farmhouse from 1890, including horse stables and a later inn into an all-encompassing work of art which has become the in-spot for locals and travelers-who-love-the-good-life alike.
With architect and consultant Prof. Jos Pirkner as the artistic inspiration, Gidi Pirkner as on-site operating manager and Robert Sprenger as the genius in the kitchen passionately putting together creative and authentic Austrian dishes. Sprenger presents signature dishes using only the best of ingredients, mostly from the immediate region, as the foundation for his elegant and celebratory synergy of typically Austrian food and modern Haute Cuisine. For the perfect wine to accompany all this, his wife Eva will show you safely and surely through the labyrinth.
