JazzFest.Wien – founded in 1991 – is an unmistakable feature on the international festival scene. This modern, urban festival is one of the three most important jazz festivals in the world. It takes place from 9th June to 10th July.
Vienna is often referred to as the world’s music capital. In addition to classical music, waltz and opera, there is also much to discover in the genres of jazz, blues, soul, world music and downbeat. Every year in summer, the city shines as the world metropolis of jazz and related genus during the JazzFest.Wien.

Again in 2017, JazzFest.Wien looks forward to welcoming some of the brightest stars of the world’s music scene. In addition to maestros such as Herbie Hancock, George Benson and Jan Gabarek, exceptional artists such as Dee Dee Bridgewater and Madeleine Peyroux or Miles Mosley are set to perform in Vienna.
