Streifzug: Mr. Dobner, why should yacht lovers and yacht owners turn to DOBNER YACHTING – what is their motivation when the undertaking is exclusive yacht management and yachting lifestyle in the Croatian waters of the Adriatic Sea?
Jürgen Dobner: We have the experience, the power to deliver, as well as a wide-ranging portfolio. We bring our full-fledged passion to every project in order to provide our clients with the absolutely best service available. We want to ensure and achieve the highest possible standard of services, to go the extra mile. With Yachtmeister^® we are mainly active in the Croatian waters of the Adriatic. That’s where we’re at home, if you will. DOBNER YACHTING on the other hand offers its services throughout Europe, and provides transfers and charters worldwide.

Streifzug: What are the advantages and benefits for yacht owners who turn to DOBNER YACHTING for their yachting management?
Jürgen Dobner: It comes down to an eye for detail. We offer our clients yachting full service, we take care of the overall and entire yachting management from refitting to interior rebuilding of yachts, transfers from point A to point B, docking and marina management, crew service, on-board catering and, it goes without saying when the yacht owner so desires, organisation and carrying out of chartering the boat to others. My own personal roots lie in the hotel business, they have indelibly imprinted me with the overall importance of absolute service performance, which I nowadays transfer to yachting and implement in a far-reaching network to provide successful delivery of promised services.

Streifzug: Is it true that you, through your expertise, can also provide assistance to future yacht owners in their personal planning and building of their own dream yacht?
Jürgen Dobner: Yes, can do. Currently we are planning the rebuilding and renovation of a motor-driven yacht and a new monohull. All of which fulfils the precise desires of the owner. We do it with extreme precision and ambition in order to turn the exact wishes of the client to reality. Apart from competent craftsmen in the individual countries, we also set great store in the professional craftsmanship in Austria.

Streifzug: Your own brand Yachtmeister^® also comprises education programs quite different from the usual “nautical courses” which are on offer, doesn’t it? What is so special about that? What are the additional benefits that are promised?
Jürgen Dobner: We accompany those people who wish to become skippers right from our first contact with them. Even after they have passed the exams, we are always available for all manner of questions and assistance. Supplementary training sessions give them that extra giant step of assuredness and self-confidence. We have a wide-ranging selection of motor-driven and sailing yachts when it is time for their first solo cruise at sea. At Yachtmeister^® everything flows from one and the same hand. Schoolings are conducted with a far-reaching roster of available overnight possibilities as well.

Streifzug: To be “the best” is something that many companies boast of. In your own position and from your point of vantage, what is the special quality of your company?
Jürgen Dobner: The high degree of service competence and unsurpassed standard of our impassioned motivation which accompanies and is injected into each and every project. We are convinced that we actually deliver that added value which many people seek are questing for, yet which nowadays is no longer part of the expected product. And one other thing: HONESTY. Each and every person in this company truly does his best to reach the specified goal, so that the end product turns out to be a truly wonderful “work” of accomplishment.
