Alpenrallye continues on its successful course

The mountains are calling: the 38th Kitzbühel Alpenrallye will take place from 04th until 07th June 2025. Following a successfully introduced new edition in 2023 and in the wake of strong growth in 2024, the Kitzbühel Alpenrallye is building up steam anew and shifting into a higher gear.

Once again in 2025, participants can await with bated breath a classic rallye conducted at the highest imaginable level accompanied by a steeplechase enterprise on the most beautiful roads of the Alps. Besides classic old timers dating up to the year 1975, there will also be a limited Young Timer & Exotic Cars Class in the upcoming edition in which iconic automobile models can take part without any limitations on when the car was built.

A classic Rallye with incomparable panoramas

This time as well, you can look forward to three impressive starts. On Thursday, 05th June 2025, the prologue of the adventure unrolls. On Friday, 06th June, the “Großglockner” will again be tackled and conquered. The crowning conclusion will be spotlighted on Saturday, 07th June, a tour through the picturesque Lake Chiemsee region before the field of participants receives its final acclaim in the inner city of Kitzbühel.

Four classes of evaluation

As in the previous years, four classes will be evaluated: Sport Plus, Sport, Classic and Youngtimer & Exotic Cars. While the overall victory will still be the achievement of classic, analogue-measured evaluations and tests, fans of newer sports cars and future classics will also be given an opportunity to participate: in the group known as “Young Timers & Exotic Cars” there are no limitations in the evaluations and tests; in this event, it is experience and driving fun which stand in the foreground.

Nevertheless, even if the Alpenrallye is opening its doors to younger vehicles, breathtaking cars from before the War will never be sidelined or forgotten. In order to equalize the effort involved, as well as the technical disadvantages, vehicles which were initially registered before 1945 are granted a bonus in the form of a 0.9-multiplier-quotient. In order to maintain quality at the highest possible level, the number of participants will be limited … and 50% of the starting slots have already been granted.
