The smallest hideaway in the Alps, eriro, finds its way back to the essentials. Nine gorgeous suites – puris-tically designed and outfitted (with natural materials stemming from the immediate region) by South Tirolean architect Martin Gruber – are located in the luxurious house-of-wood at 1550 metres altitude on the high Ehrwalder Alm in Tirol. Alpine traditions and regional/seasonal ingredients are the primary components of the cuisine which the fine art of simplicity interprets at a pinnacle. The spa zone thrusts itself into the focal point through three brooks from their own water sources, two saunas and a quiet room, alongside a sound room projecting the elements of nature. Individual massages can be enjoyed with views of the Wetterstein Massif.
