Kitzbühel | Issue 43 | Summer 2018 Text: Klaus Dörre
Claudia Maschke is well known as an unconventional thinker and top brand manager. When she stages an entrance as ambassador for indoor and outdoor brands, you can be sure something very valuable stands behind it: extraordinary design, exquisite quality, corporate social responsibility.
There is no other way to explain that a woman who already looks back on an impressive business career, including at such illustrious agencies as Young & Rubicam, GGK, Barci & Partner, most recently at management level as Deputy Director for Marketing and Sales at Ottakringer Brauerei AG, suddenly switches lanes and heads in a completely different direction. And that, apparently for the simple reason that at a trade fair in Paris she discovered “Society Limonta” – Italian manufacturer of home textiles producing a level of quality, colour and material that simply knocked her over.
That was the year 2010. Ever since, Claudia Maschke has been discovering and representing other high-end brands of sophisticated design, quality and innovation. Out of the “Society” affair in Paris, a new profession and life has begun for her.
Authentic, innovative, charming
At the Designaffairs showroom in Vienna, those products most representative of her design concepts and her hands-on involvement in the scene are on view in genuine home atmosphere.
