Wien | Issue 18 | WINTER 2016
The dinner club “Albertina Passage“ is an exciting blend of high class cuisine, American bar culture, live-jazz, lounge and lifestyle. The spaciously designed club exudes cosmopolitanism and casual elegance.
Gourmands and connoisseurs are just as well catered for as jazz-loving dance enthusiasts. The “Albertina Passage” Dinner-Club is located in a former pedestrian subway next to the State Opera House. Its’ bar, gourmet kitchen and stage for live concerts makes it a real highlight for the fun-loving ”revellers“ of Vienna’s night scene. Bar and stage area form a centrepiece in white, surrounded by box seats for diners. Using state of the art technology, the walls can be illuminated in various colours. A separate bar area is available for smokers. The spacious 1,500-m2-restaurant can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests.
“Albertina Passage” is open in winter from Tuesday to Saturday from 18.00 hrs. Diners, or those just wanting to savour a drink at the bar, are treated to live music until around midnight, after which a DJ spins discs at the weekends. The musical program is exclusively created for Albertina Passage and performed by the “AP All Stars” collective, with a focus on the musical genres of jazz, soul and funk.
Diners relish international cuisine with an Austrian and American twist. Alexander Kumptner, a former pupil of Reinhard Gerers, is the resident head chef.
