Record-breaking superyacht out of the desert

After a total of four years of planning and construction, Gulf Craft recently completed its new flagship, the Majesty 175. The four-deck vessel, whose exterior and interior designs were conceived by Italian designer Cristiano Gatto, has a volume of 780 gross tons, making it about 40 percent larger than the yard’s previous flagship, the 47.60-metre Majesty 155. Yankee Delta Studio of Pisa was responsible for the hull design. “Our goal was to design a yacht with a long range, excellent seakeeping characteristics and good top speed – the result is outstanding on all levels,” said Yankee chief designer Massimo Gregori Grgic.

The Majesty 175 is powered by two powerful MTU 4000 engines, each with 12 cylinders and 1490 kilowatts of power. This allows a top speed of 16.5 knots to be achieved. At a cruising speed of 10 knots, the GRP series-production yacht can cover around 4,000 nautical miles without refuelling. The elegant layout of the Majesty 175 provides for the accommodation of 14 guests in seven spacious cabins and a crew of ten. On the upper deck is the huge owner’s suite, which boasts 270-degree all-round views, an office and dressing area and, most importantly, a five-metre infinity pool complete with counter-current system on the foredeck, offering the owner maximum comfort and privacy.
