For the last 50 years, Kitzbühel’s goldsmith Schroll in the heart of Chamoix Town, has been a shining instance of valuable, creative jewellery and a paradise for sophisticated lovers of fine watches.
Spread out in a showroom of 100m² extending over two floors, visitors here find the noblest of Swiss timepieces, watches by Rolex, Tudor, Chopard, Montblanc und Longines. And illustrious international names in jewellery such as Chopard, Niessing, Tamara Comolli, IsabelleFa, Leo Wittwer – as well as the most exquisite of writing implements by Montblanc. The repertoire is rounded out by the goldsmith’s own collection of jewellery and the “Kitzbühel collection” of watches.
On the upper floor, the watchmaker’s shop can be peeked into by visitors. Among other things, this is where the 50-year Schroll Anniversary Watch was created and produced.
This is a rare (the edition consists of only 50 specimens) timepiece with nocturnal blue dial, as an option also with the monogram of the purchaser. All 50 watches have already found an owner.
Thus, it is no wonder that the Schroll workshop is already hard at work generating the next high-end project: a special edition (limited to 75 specimens) for the 750-year anniversary of the City of Kitzbühel. It contains a Swiss self-winding movement, platinum-charcoal dial, and metal wristband. It will cost € 2,990,–. Customer care of the purchasers will be in the hands of Josef Schroll personally, from the story of the creation of your own watch all the way to its handover to purchaser possession. Together with each purchaser, he will design a personal monogram. Once again, something extraordinary, valuable, an exclusive collector’s item for lovers of fine timepieces.
As authorised Rolex expertise workshop, each and every service, from verifying water tightness and impermeability all the way to the watch’s overall revision, will be carried out on the premises. Repairs of other brands of watches are carried out with the self-same expertise. And that also applies to your favourite items of jewellery. From repair work, to completing a piece of custom made jewellery, everything is possible.
