It is not merely rooms which are created at Egetemeier, but more, namely, rooms which are lived in. Today – 70 years later – their age-old promise is more up to date than ever. In an epoch which is too often marked by fleeting ephemerality and short-lived replaceability, Egetemeier sets high store in the diametric opposite: in thoughtfulness, depth and quality. Against the backdrop of its anniversary, this high-minded attitude has been put indelibly on record – visually – at a photo shooting which places not rooms but human beings at stage centre. The photographs let you discover the people behind the projects – a team of men and women with immense experience under their belts, with a sensitivity and fineness of feeling, and with genuine enthusiasm for generating rooms that have staying power.

For three generations, Egetemeier has evolved with this high-minded demeanour. What began as a small artisanry operation is today a studio with international perspectives and abiding roots of handcraftsmanship. Their aspiration is articulated with decades of confidence: to create a harmonious overall composition out of high-quality premium materials, selected design pieces and individual planning. Synchronized, colour-coordinated and harmonized with the actual living reality of the clients. Implemented with love and a great attentiveness to detail. As well as respect for the all-encompassing whole.

Two spots in Munich mirror this claim to perfection: the Interior Design Studio on Nymphenburger Straße – a place where people communicate with each other, a place of inspiration and discovery. And the Minotti Store on Oskar von Miller Ring – a stage for Italian design gems and meticulously orchestrated room creations. Both places reflect their origins and speak their message loud and clear: living culture is never a manufactured product at Egetemeier, rather, it is the ultimate end point of a path undertaken together.

“Cultivating interiors since 1955” – this epithet brings it all down to one single point that reveals the innermost identity of Egetemeier: rooms generated with a high-minded attitude. Projects which draw people together, interconnect them. Designs which endure. Also into the future, Egetemeier can be relied upon to continue this selfsame long-tried-and-tested path: with their own collection, new technologies for visualizing room possibilities, and most of all, with that which defines the company at its essence: they have time to talk things over.
