Kitzbühel’s Summer 2026 dazzles all comers through a truly extraordinary spectrum of events, ranging from international top sports events to premium cultural happenings all the way to exclusive business events and culinary highlights. Chamois Town once again becomes the meeting place for sports lovers, entrepreneurs, music fans and connoisseurs of life.

In July, Kitzbühel stands totally in the sign of sports: after 33 years, international ladies tennis returns and then at the Generali Open, world-class players will again do their best with tennis ball and racket. The programme will be rounded out by the highly traditional Kitzbüheler Horn race, Bike Days of the Harley-Davidson scene and special international Business Formats, such as the World Venture Forum and the Business Angel summit. Summer nights full of music, culinary joys and culture will provide lively atmosphere to top it off in the inner city. Kitzbühel also shows cultural facets: cabaret with Alex Kristan and Monika Gruber, the popular Sommertheater, Cinema on the Mountain and Open-Air events will provide the very best of entertainment.

August combines societal highlights with sports and music – extending from the traditional 100th Jahrmarkt to the summertime concerts all the way to the Music Festival Kitzbühel with Andreas Gabalier. Sportive endurance is what gets proven by participants in the Hahnenkamm Mountainbike race or the Kitzbüheler Horn Mountain-Street-Run. The month comes to an end enjoyably with KITZ Kulinarik.

In September, a further stream of highlights is guaranteed by Pizzera & Jaus, Rotary Rad WM, Kitzbüheler Radmarathon, the Austrian Beach Volleyball Championships and the Sports Car Festival. Even in autumn, Kitzbühel remains an attractive meeting place with a plethora of culinary events, exhibitions, the film festival and the Romy Awards.
