The Sepp Hofer enterprise works as general contractor. Apart from the core competency of interior carpentry, joinery and furnishings, they also offer organisation and coordination of all work involved in building.
The repertoire of services available at Tischlerei Hofer, which currently employs about 30 qualified professionals, starts with comprehensive counsel about living concepts, materials, fabrics and textiles and extends through utterly individual planning all the way to production and custom-made finishing of furniture and all-encompassing interior living concepts and furnishings. Recently they have expanded further to include overall building organisation as well, including coordination and organisation of all sub-contracting planning and craftsmanship tasks. “Everything we don‘t make ourselves, we order from the best of regional partners and associates on-site,” explains Sepp Hofer.
The “digital” carpenter
In future, digitalisation will enable projects to be conceived and recorded as one overall whole, and communicated in crystal-clear fashion. “That guarantees more intensive contact with the customers, they can even follow along with the progress of their furnishings via smartphone on a special app,” elucidates Hofer. All the necessary business hurdles, beginning with administrative and customer-counsel talks, to planning, work preparation all the way to finishing and mounting the completed items, are recorded and communicated to perfection for the customer.
