The Weyerhof appears in official documents as far back as 1130. Since 1832 the Meilinger family have maintained high standards of authenticity, comfort and quality in their legacy, there is nothing like it far and wide, making it “more modern” than ever.
“Dedication” is the word that comes to mind as regards the Meilinger family when it is a matter of the time and effort and love they have poured into the Weyerhof for generations. They have made it an extraordinary oasis of well being.
Every niche and corner of the premises in this recently renovated heritage homestead is filled with authentic local handicrafts, around which fourteen highly individual, high-quality, comfortable rooms (eleven doubles and three suites) await guests.
Honest & Authentic
In the restaurant, only genuine regional products are considered as raw materials for the meals. An impassioned chef, Franz Meilinger aims only at highest level dining . After having worked at “Steirereck” in Vienna and at gourmet restaurant “Novus” in Singapore (!) he now concentrates on amplifying and enhancing old family recipes. He uses only ingredients that come from his own garden and top regional producers.
All in all, the Weyerhof is one of those rare spots that feed on the energy and devotion of a very special kind of family energy with unconditional love of authentic quality. It is something you feel and taste and savour when you are here. It awakens a deep-seated desire to return as soon as possible.
