In the ever-evolving landscape of private aviation, the latest Cessna Citation light jets – the Cessna Citation M2 Gen3, Citation CJ3 Gen3 and Citation CJ4 Gen3 – are setting new benchmarks for luxury, performance and innovation. Announced last fall, these next-generation jets are not only redefining the standards of light jet travel but are also perfectly tailored to meet the demands of Europe’s discerning business and leisure travellers.

Citation M2 Gen3: Comfort and productivity
The M2 Gen3, expected to enter into service in 2027, features the Garmin G3000 avionics system with Garmin Autothrottles, optional Enhanced Vision System (EVS) for improved navigation and optimized situational awareness and Garmin Emergency Autoland. Its design and short take-off field length (3,210 ft) allow access to smaller European airports and effortlessly connects major European cities like Paris to Lisbon and Copenhagen to Munich. Prioritizing comfort, the interior incorporates premium styling, ambient lighting and technological upgrades like wireless charging and USB ports, enhancing comfort and productivity.

Citation CJ3 Gen3: Redefining business aviation
Similar to the M2 Gen3, the CJ3 Gen3’s flight deck is equipped with the Garmin G3000 avionics system with Garmin Autothrottles, optional Enhanced Vision System (EVS) for improved navigation and optimized situational awareness and Garmin Emergency Autoland, providing peace of mind to pilots and passengers alike. The cabin is a masterclass in luxury, with amenities like swivel seating, RGB accent lighting and modern connectivity options. With a maximum range of 2,040 nm, it connects cities like Paris to Reykjavik and Barcelona to Athens. The CJ3 Gen3 is also expected to enter into service in 2027.

Citation CJ4 Gen3: Superior performance and luxury
Expected to enter into service in 2026, the CJ4 Gen3 boasts the next-generation Garmin G3000 PRIME avionics, featuring a flat, intuitive menu interface helps pilots easily navigate across avionic systems and flight operations, and enhanced primary flight displays. By incorporating input from customers, the CJ4 Gen3 features improved cabin acoustics to create an exceptional experience for everyone on board, winglets with enhanced lighting for an elevated ramp presence and an upgraded flight deck to provide illumination where pilots need it – including map lighting, overhead flood lighting and side pocket lighting. As the largest Citation aircraft in the light jet segment, it connects cities like Madrid to Zurich and Rome to Paris.

Cessna Citation light jets are tailored to global luxury travel demands, offering a seamless blend of performance, luxury and reliability. Whether for business or leisure, they provide an exceptional travel experience. With their advanced features and customer-centric design, these light jets are redefining the standards of private aviation.
