“When everything is the same, what counts is that ever-so-slight difference.” Thus, the inspiration for chocolatier Michael Dillinger of Landsberg to create the chocolate of his dreams: the elegant Orb. In the age-old Bavarian tradition, it is a hand-scooped, hand-poured, seductively enticing masterpiece, reminiscent of the finest truffles.
At Meisterwerk – Maître Dillinger’s ‘chocolate kitchen’ – the main ingredient is a love of detail. Dillinger uses only top premium quality ingredients: the very best raw cacao bean varieties roasted with eminent care, the noblest of rare spirits, the finest of accompanying ingredients from strictly supervised farms. “We dispense utterly with artificial aromas and preservatives, so of course the expiration dates are shorter,” the chocolatier explains. “Everything is produced by hand, a true handicraft, fresh, in small amounts with short shelf life. Each piece is lovingly packed by hand.”
For several years, polka-dot Easter bunnies and exclusive Santas have been added to the selection.
The hand-painted rows of one-of-a-kind couvertures (26% – 85%) are available to the delight of all.
