About Viking Heliskiing

Friends since childhood, Björgvin Björgvinsson and Jóhann Haukur Hafstein founded Viking Heliskiing in 2013. They are both former alpine skiing Olympians who have competed at the highest level worldwide. Björgvin and Jóhann, along with their team of guides, have a deep understanding and knowledge of the Troll Peninsula, their main playground.

Viking Heliskiing not only offers a vast ski area of 5,000 square kilometres, but also claims the title of the largest private ski area of any heliskiing operation in Iceland, including areas where you can ski from the mountain tops all the way down to the sea.
