Yachting | 2025
Although the trend in super yachting towards sustainable formats continues, not every owner is best served by frugal formats. For many years, the Italian brand AB Yachts has been filling a niche for UHNWIs who are in a bit of a hurry on the water with its extremely stylish Open models, which are usually over 40 knots fast – in other words, designs that do with-out one or two upper decks and are therefore quite sleek per se. The latest model is no exception. The AB 110, presented as a world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival last September, offers an incomparable sailing experience with speeds of up to 43 knots, made possible by three 2000 hp MAN V12 engines and MJP waterjets.

In terms of looks, the latest AB delivery boasts elegant lines designed by Archea Associati and an open, light-filled interior reminiscent of a cool loft that could just as easily fit into a state-of-the-art land-based property. The entrance is formed by a long bar on the port side, signalling that the yacht was developed with a strong hospitality mindset. The AB 110 has a capacity for up to ten guests in four luxurious cabins that are perfectly designed for comfort and privacy. They are accessed via two staircases that lead to the lower deck to the side of the futuristic-looking helm station. The owner sleeps here in a suite across the full width of the hull, which is dominated by brown and beige tones. Fluffy carpets and fine fabrics ensure a cosy atmosphere, just like in the three guest cabins.
