Resysta is Wood 2.0, consisting approximately 60% of rice husks, a German invention hailing from Taufkirchen near Munich. That’s where Valeria Duna maintains her showroom in the district near the old equestrian hall: “Summerfield.” She specializes in products made of Resysta.
Resysta has multifold uses, e.g. for garden furniture or terraces and facade profiles. For products which are exposed to wind and weather, Resysta is the ideal substance. It is 100% waterproof and does not react to moisture. Chlorine and saltwater don’t affect it at all. It doesn’t splinter and remains slip-proof even when wet. In other words, it is perfect for barefoot-zones such as terraces, balconies, pool areas and steps hung onto a dock or pier.
Products of Resysta are easy to clean. They don’t need any protective lacquer or varnish, Resysta doesn’t rot, which is one of the reason customers take such pleasure in their terraces or facades made of Resysta for such a long time.
The Resysta company accumulates residual products from construction and demolition projects, reclaiming them and forming them to new products. For this complete full-cycle circulation process it was awarded the distinguished Green Product Award in 2018.
