Around 600 kilometres must be surmounted in total – in either sporty (Sport Trophy) or leisurely (Classic Trophy) style. The fact that only cars built pre-1972 may participate ensures an exclusive starter field, with a cross-section of the most beautiful pre and post war classics, including rare examples of major brands such as Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz or Aston Martin.
Bentley Motors celebrated their return to the Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye 2017 as prime sponsor of this traditional event. So a particularly high-calibre appearance of the British cult-classics can be expected again in 2018. The Schaeffler group of companies and Swiss watch brand, Chronoswiss, have been principal sponsors of the event for many years – and the rallye winner will once again walk away with an exclusive model from the portfolio of this high-class watchmaker. Classic car insurance specialists, OCC, are also on board as sponsors.
…the Alpenrallye is also supported by French auction house, Artcurial, and renowned German law firm, Buse-Heberer-Fromm. Last but not least: Kitzbühel Tourismus has also been a patron of the Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye since its very inception in 1988. As always, teams representing the Alpenrallye sponsors will join the rally field of participants.
