“The Velvet” is the à la carte restaurant of five-star hotel Weisses Rössl Kitzbühel, offering an elegant lounge in the front area and a small, exquisite gourmet restaurant in the rear area. Executive chef Jens Riemann places highest emphasis on combinations of international and Asian specialties.

The dominant colour of the velvet-upholstered restaurant furniture is purple. Purple dyestoff is the most expensive in the world. It symbolizes “power of life”.

The LOUNGE opens daily at 04.00 p.m. during the winter season (December through March).
The RESTAURANT is open daily 07.00 p.m. until 10.00 p.m., both for in-house and external guests.
