Any story that tells us of the beauty of a carefree life on the high alpine pastures we know straightaway is genuine. That means the fog dispersing in early morning, receding over the mountain ridge, leaving fresh, clear air in its wake. We take a deep breath and we edge up a little closer to the storyteller, namely, to a handcrafted scented candle by Looops.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/a><\/span>

All of us can remember such moments, moments we have savoured in places which are so special, so unmistakable and have such a distinctive, inimitable scent that we could recognise it in an instant. For example, a serene stroll through the forest, a wild victory cry at the summit of a mountain peak in early morning, or refreshing our tired limbs in a cool mountain stream. Through photographs we can capture these experiences, even hang a memento on our walls. But why do we forget the inspiring powers of their scents? It\u2019s a flaw which two nature lovers, Julia Schliefsteiner and Markus Niederfriniger, became intensely aware of more than ten years ago and set out to rectify. Nevertheless, their long search for natural candles without irritating artificial notes was in vain. And so they followed their noses and began to conserve the scents of nature in the Salzburg countryside themselves, then to immortalise them in handcrafted candles made of plant-based wax and 100% natural essential oils. It was the birth of the brand Looops.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/a><\/span>
