Thus, for this spectacularly beautiful house in Aspen/Vail, Holzbau Maier was brought on board. The reputation of the family-run Salzburg company precedes them all the way to the USA. As early as the planning phase there was close collaboration between Holzbau Maier and American architects; and the concrete planners and builders found Holzbau Maier simply indispensable. After all, every detail has to sit perfectly and securely so that the wood construction which is manufactured in Austria fits like a glove onto the foundations and flooring which await it on-site.
