Switching back and forth between furniture and architecture is easy for Christian Friedl. Regardless what the measurements are, he always sees the big picture.

Christian Friedl is an entrepreneur with vast experience with a far-reaching grasp of things who always perceives and takes into consideration the invisible implications and connections. He catapults his entire creativity into his projects, yet never loses contact with the things on ground level. That is something which his contractors treasure most about him. Together with a strong team at his side and equipped with a high degree of passion for what he does, he dedicates himself to sophisticated interior and exterior projects with heart and soul: architecture and furniture, both of which extend throughout the interior spaces of a residence. “This doesn’t work,” is a phrase he doesn’t know and never uses. He adores new challenges, they are his biggest thrill.

Currently Christian Friedl is working on exclusive residence projects in Ellmau, Fieberbrunn, Westendorf, Kössen and St. Johann. Always in his crosshairs: integrating the new building into the immediate surroundings with a super-sensitive touch. For that reason, huge amounts of old wood come into use, stemming from a variety of sources in old alpine farmhouses. This is a particularly worthwhile and enduring concept since on the one hand, natural resources get reused; and on the other, those materials have their own aura, their own stories to tell.
