For over 50 years, Hauschild Gebäudetechnik has been planning, installing, and maintaining environmentally friendly heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including heat pump systems. The first heat pumps were installed in Kitzbühel as early as the 1970s. Thanks to continuous product innovations from leading industry partners and digitalisation, this environmentally friendly technology has successfully established itself in recent years and is increasingly being used in existing buildings.

Heat pumps extract heat from the air, groundwater, or the ground, which is then used for space heating and hot water preparation. To make use of the “free” environmental heat, heat pumps only require electricity and do not involve combustion processes. Ideally, all components, from the heat pump to the heating system, are optimally matched. Only in this way efficient operation and a high annual performance factor can be ensured. The operating principle of a heat pump is like that of a refrigerator and can also be used for cooling in summer with appropriate systems.
