Their own brand of LA PREZIOSA by TIROLER GOLDSCHMIED comprises 13 collections, all of whose jewellery pieces are designed in South Tirol and then produced in the finest of handcraftsmanship out of recycled gold at the family’s own workshop near Merano.

LA PREZIOSA is a hallmark for elegant Italian design, the finest in workmanship and a contemporary aesthetic spirit. The collection extends from modern to timeless pieces all the way to highly opulent high-jewellery valuables, even achieving modern interpretations of jewellery for historic national dress and precious pieces on the theme of hunting. Below we introduce three outstanding collections:

The “INKA” collection

Hannes Gamper, CEO of TIROLER GOLDSCHMIED and jewellery designer for the superb brand LA PREZIOSA, was distinguished by the German Design Award 2024 in the category of “Excellent Product Design / Luxury Goods.” He received the award in outstanding designer quality for the arm bracelet of his beloved “INKA” collection in which finest strands of gold are interwoven with enormous laboriousness and time consuming complexity. They serve as an “hommage” to the exquisite handcraftsmanship of the Incas, who are valued historically as capable and talented goldsmiths and stonemasons. The jewellery pieces can be flexed and bent like a spring, thus, fitting themselves to the invidual body. Hannes Gamper has been inspired repeatedly by the the artistic treasures of antique cultures such as the Incas. In a book about the famous El Dorado treasure, he uncovered a masterly raft, woven from the finest gold. The lightness of the raft and its immense radiating quality gave him the impulse to create the magnificent “INKA” collection. All of its precious pieces of jewellery are made from 18-carat recycled gold.

The “Allegretto” collection

Cheerful jewellery pieces, ones that generate a good mood. After all, “allegretto” means lively, bright-eyed and fanciful. In this spirit Hannes Gamper created young and modern jewellery pieces which fit seamlessly with today’s guiding lights. The language emanating from their shapes is crystal-clear, yet playful at the same time: diamonds dancing freely atop armbands of 18-carat rosé or yellow or white gold, recalling the brilliant radiance of the sun. With the “Allegretto” collection, LA PREZIOSA celebrates the lightness and cheerfulness of life. The dancing ring of diamonds symbolizes freedom. All of the jewellery pieces in the collection can easily be combined with one another.

“So-called ‘stacking’ – wearing a variety of jewellery pieces adjacent to or right on top of one another – is a trend that simply never loses its momentum. Our ‘Allegretto’ rings, armbands and necklaces are superbly suited for this trend,” explains Gamper. “Precisely their combination of diverse gold tones and hues is what lends these pieces of jewellery a very particular lustre and glamour.”

The “High-Jewellery” collection …

… contains opulent specimens of jewellery that truly make dreams come true. This collection comprises extraordinary valuables, most of them are unique pieces or released in a numbered, strictly limited edition. These are the culmination of precious gemstones, high-carat diamonds and masterful design achieving the pinnacle of luxury. “With our inborn feeling for design and our long years of experience and know-how as experts in stones and diamonds, we view the ‘High-Jewellery’ collection as the royal road of our creative trail,” illuminates Hannes Gamper. “Each and every gemstone is different and, in its own way, utterly unique. Its precious stones are reserved for a grand entrance or for that very special occasion.” Meticulously selected and rare precious gems such as tourmaline, for example, such as pearls and diamonds, are the heart of the collection whose hand-finished pieces each have a strong character and reflect the individuality of the person who wears them.
