With “Seawolf X”, Rossinavi has launched a yacht the likes of which the inhabitants of the Italian yacht-building Mecca of Viareggio have rarely seen before. The almost 43-metre-long catamaran (!) looks very sporty, almost martial from the outside; inside it impresses with the latest state-of-the-art technology. “Seawolf X” not only has a groundbreaking hybrid drive, but is also the first yacht ever to feature the shipyard’s own Rossinavi AI tool, a system controlled by artificial intelligence that is designed to significantly increase the efficiency of ‘Seawolf X’. The AI continuously monitors the operation of the ship and acts as an intelligent system that learns from observations and anticipates guests’ needs.

It also interacts with the crew members, giving them tips on sustainable practices and promoting environmentally friendly behaviour. The innovative Rossinavi system also monitors the battery and ensures that it remains in the optimum capacity range of 20 to 80 percent, which contributes to a longer battery life. In cruising mode, “Seawolf X” has three performance modes. For day cruises, the catamaran can be operated 100 percent in electric mode; for trips lasting several days, it is still 90 percent and on Atlantic crossings 80 percent. The hibernation mode, which is activated when the catamaran docks, reduces consumption to a minimum and the energy collected by the solar panels can be returned to shore. “Seawolf X” supplies enough energy to power an entire villa, for example.
