Massari Design – formerly the Studio Massari – has been one of the flagships of Italian interior design since the 1970ies. Back then, founder Luigi Massari began designing interiors for motor yachts that caused a worldwide sensation. Today, Luigi’s son Alessandro adds that unmistakable Massari flair to private homes, aircraft, hotels, casinos and, of course, yachts.
One of the studio’s most impressive references is Golden Yachts’ 88-metre “Project X”, which features elegant combinations of over 40 types of leather, precious woods, marble and onyx, and metals with unique finishes and silk carpets. Another standout project from Massari Design is CRN’s 52-metre “Ciao”, whose design gives a relatively clean overall look, but combines it with refined and sophisticated, but not ostentatious, details. In 2023, the office also worked on interiors for Golden Yachts’ 77-metre “O’Rea”, Cantiere delle Marche’s “Darwin 86”, and a yacht over 80 metres long, about which the cloak of silence must currently be kept. In any case, this project will also be a flagship for Italian design.
