The Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air is based on the Frauscher 858 Fantom Air day cruiser. It adopts its 8.67 metre long and 2.49 metre wide hull almost unchanged on the outside and offers space for up to nine guests. Porsche has adapted and further devel-oped its drive technology designed for road vehicles for use on the water. The Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air uses components from the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), on which the new Macan will also be based. The lithium-ion battery with a gross capacity of 100 kWh, which has also been adopted from the Macan, is also located under the lying surface in the rear section. Similar to Porsche’s road vehicles, the appropriate drive characteristics can be selected using pre-programmed driving modes. The eFantom enables the Docking, Range, Sport and Sport Plus settings. The optimum cruising speed is 22 knots. At this speed, you can cruise for around an hour on one battery charge; ranges of over 100 kilometres are possible at displacement cruising. The maximum speed is reached in Sport Plus mode and is a regulated 85 km/h (46 knots). The Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air will celebrate its official world premiere in January 2024 at the “boot” in Düsseldorf in Hall 5. An exclusive first edition of 25 copies is initially planned.
