Automotive history in Kitzbühel

The 35th Kitzbühel Alpenrallye will take place once again in autumn, 2022. The most gorgeous old timers in automobile history will launch their grand voyage at the Hahnenkamm from 07th to 10th September.

Once again there will be many fascinating routes and scenery along the most beautiful roads in the Alps to be discovered, this time including a huge loop over Gerlos Pass, through the Zillertal and the Inn Valley to the Sudelfeld in Bavaria on Friday and a spin through the Pinzgau with the breathtaking “Hochkönig Mountain Road” on Saturday. As culmination, as every year, the finish-line drive and an awesome vehicle parade through the old town of Kitzbühel as finale. It promises to be a memorable time for fans and teams alike.

Two selected categories are open to join in: “sport” (Sport Trophy with numerous trials and transponder GPS measurement) and “relax” (Classic Trophy with fewer trials). The year-of-manufacture limit at 1975 guarantees exclusivity in the field of starters and provides the most spectacular classics from the years prior to and following World War Two. Once again an Hourglass Class is also offered for enthusiasts. Only mechanical timing instruments and mechanical helping aids are permitted, all electronic support devices are prohibited.
