Super catamaran from Silent Yachts

The Austrian manufacturer of solar and electric catamarans SILENT YACHTS is making its mark in the ever-growing explorer segment with its new superyacht SILENT 120 Explorer, which is already under construction. The new project, characterized by a powerful design and an interior layout by Marco Casali, offers space for two of the latest “must-haves” for journeys into the distance. The hull shape of the SILENT 120 Explorer in combination with the compact electric propulsion units offers plenty of space, allowing the SILENT 120 Explorer to accommodate both a revolutionary eVTOL aircraft and a fully electric two-person submarine, in addition to the usual tenders and toys needed on a superyacht.

The vertical take-off aircraft can be landed on the roof of the SILENT 120 Explorer, where large solar panels extend to port and starboard to reveal a touch-and-go landing pad. The NEMO submarine from U-Boat Worx offers two people the ability to dive to depths of up to 100 metres in an all-electric package that is smaller than two jet skis. The NEMO features the signature acrylic pressure sphere that gives pilot and passenger a breathtaking view of the depths, while the Manta control interface is both easy to learn and simple to operate.
